On September 16, 2015, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held a ceremony, on which UNESCO Director-General Ms. Irina Bokova handed to the virtuoso musician Theodosii Spassov a Diploma “UNESCO Artist for Peace” for 2015-2017. This is a recognition of his extraordinary talent, for his originality and dedication to music. Ms. Bokova emphasized the commitment of Theodosii Spassov, who by his art facilitates dialogue between peoples, cultures and societies. His music unites and makes people better. UNESCO Director-General invited Mr. Spassov to participate in 2016 World Day of Jazz, which will be celebrated in Washington, at the White House, and it will be attended by world-renowned jazz performers.
The international conference was attended by Mr. Kiril Arnautski – Chairman of Sozopol Foundation and Ms. Lyubov Draganova – chief expert of International Programmes and projects at the Foundation. They congratulated Mr. Theodosii Spassov for the received diploma as wished him many creative successes.
