Grand finale of the National Campaign Wonders of Bulgaria 2014 was held on 17 December. Sozopol Foundation participated in this event as a partner in the campaign. The Foundation was represented by prof. Violeta Nesheva and Mr. Mitya Dimitrov.

At the opening of the final of the national campaign of Wonders of Bulgaria Slavka Bozoukova, editor in chief of Standard newspaper stressed that the best guide are the symbols of time and in this regard the initiative is not campaign about the past, but it is a key for the future. She addressed to all young people willing to cross the airport terminals with the words: “Stay, Our Common miracle is Bulgaria. Miracles give us faith in ourselves. Our greatest desire is to direct the campaign at young Bulgarians”.
Ms. Slavka Bozoukova at the awards ceremony Live on BNT Slavka Bozoukova announced the big winner in the campaign The Wonders of Bulgaria. In the category “Discoveries” the ring – killer of Kaliakra became Miracle № 1 for 2014, the mask of Teres received second place and third place went to the monastery near Urvich. The Gold in the category “Attractions” received the fortress “Transmariska” in Tutrakan, the fortress “Peristera” in Peshtera was honored with second place and the bronze medal was given to the island of St. Anastasia, Burgas. The special prize went to “Villa Armira” near Ivaylovgrad.
