During the annual Information Conference held in December 2014 in Sofia the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ms. Lilyana Pavlova informed that Over 750 projects have been implemented with funds from the Operational Programme “Regional Development” for the period 2007-2013.
The forum was attended by Ms. Vittoria Alliata di Villafranca, Director of “Administrative capacity building in Southeast Europe” DG “Regional and urban policy” of the European Commission and by the Mayor of Sofia Ms. Yordanka Fandakova.
In the category for the most attractive tourist destination and for the development of cultural-historical heritage was awarded the project for the ancient Villa Armira. Sozopol Foundation was a consultant on conservation, restoration, construction of the lapidarium and socialization of this exceptional cultural value of national importance.
