Exhibition of children’s artworks “Let be light”


On December 6 – St. Nicholas Day, in Hall 3.3 “The Miracles of Bulgaria” at the National Palace of Culture was opened an exhibition including 70 of the best children’s artworks from the exhibitions “Let be light” and “The symbols of Bulgarian carpet weaving – symbols of faith, beauty and harmony”. The exhibition was opened by Ms. Tatyana Kostadinova, Chairman of the Spiritual Mirror Society.

Greetings to the young artists were presented by Ms. Margarita Popova, Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria. Ms. Popova expressed a special gratitude to Mr. Kiril Arnautski, Chairman of Sozopol Foundation, for the realization of the exhibition.

The artworks were created by children from Art Centre “Vidima” in Sevlievo, Atelier “Spiritual Mirror” at Community Centre “Lyuben Karavelov” in the village of Kurtovo Konare and School of Carpet Weaving “Spiritual Mirror” at Primary School “Peter Parchevich” in Chiprovtzi.

The opening continued with cultural program, including performance of songs and dances by children from kindergarten “Brezichka” in Sofia.

In the hall were taken pictures that captured the smiling faces of the organizers, artists and guests.

The exhibition is open to visitors until 18 December 2013 and the entry is free. The exhibition is organized by Spiritual Mirror Society and Sozopol Foundation, in partnership with the National Palace of Culture and S Media Team.
