21 years ago, in 1992, a 12-year-old girl from Canada, called Severn Suzuki, took the breath of the world with her six-minute speech about the present and future of the children all over the world at a UN Conference in Rio de Janeiro. In 2009, UNICEF Bulgaria initiated a campaign called The Children – Our Future. As a sign of commitment to and support of the Bulgarian and international initiatives, Sozopol Foundation is taking part in the development and modernization of children’s corners and kindergartens.
The project envisages an overhaul of kindergarten Snezhanka and conservation and restoration works on the yard and the fence walls. The kindergarten is on the territory of the Ancient Town of Apollonia Archaeological Reserve.
