On May 31, 2016, in Architectural and Historic Complex Southern Fortress Wall and Tower, created by Sozopol Foundation, pupils from second grade of St. St. Cyril and Methodius Primary School in town of Sozopol were awarded their diplomas. The event was part of the program of the fifth edition of Sozopolis Festival. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Sozopol, in partnership with Muzite Association.
Within the event, during the “open day” of May 31, were organized visits to the Archaeological Museum of Sozopol, part of the remarkable temples in the town, the Art Gallery of Sozopol and Architectural and Historic Complex South Fortress Wall and Tower. Pupils and guests were welcomed to the complex by Ms. Dobreva, Deputy Director of St. St. Cyril and Methodius Primary School. After the children received their diplomas, Ms. Krasteva, Chairperson of Muzite Association, presented gifts to each child. Then Mr. Galin Georgiev from Sozopol Foundation showed the guests and acquainted them with Architectural and Historic Complex Southern Fortress Wall and Tower. The students were impressed by the exposure and the unique way in which it recreates the history of the oldest town on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
