Celebrating the holiday of the throne of the Kingdom of Morocco – 19 years from the ascension of the King Mohammed VI


The Holiday of the Throne of the Kingdom of Morocco – 19 years from the ascension of the King Mohammed VI was solemnly celebrated on the 30th of July, 2018 in the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Sozopol Foundation – a non-governmental organization with an active international activity worldwide, was officially invited to the ceremony.

By implementing part of its activities, Sozopol Foundation is committed to strengthening and developing good bilateral relations between the non-governmental sector in both countries.

During the meeting with H.E. Ms. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Kiril Arnautski, Chairperson of Sozopol Foundation, Prof. Chavdar Popov, Chairperson of Bulgarian-Moroccan Association and Phd Shafik Subai, Secretary-General of the Bulgarian-Moroccan Association, provided informational materials concerning the jointly developed project: “Sozopol and Essaouira – widely open doors between two civilizations”.

Bulgarian-Moroccan Association and Sozopol Foundation have been working for several years for the realization of this project initiative. A meeting is foreseen in the town of Essaouira, the Kingdom of Morocco, with the leadership of Essaouira – Mogador Association, representatives of the non-governmental sector, on which meeting the bilateral relations and a signing a Memorandum of Cooperation will be discussed. Local authorities are also committed and provide the necessary support.
