Restoration and adaptation of a Bulgarian National Revival house in Ancient Town of Apollonia Archaeological Reserve in the town of Sozopol


Implementation period: 2003 ÷ 2004 years. Value of the implemented project activities – 18 983,42 euro. Funded under the Program: Beautiful Bulgaria at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

A typical Sozopol National Revival house, located within the Reserve, was adapted and socialized through reconstruction, conservation and restoration. Traditional techniques relevant to the region, namely, stone cutting, masonry and wood carving, were used for sustaining building authenticity.
