On August 6, 2015 representatives of the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee arrived in Sofia to hold an external meeting of the Committee. Immediately after their arrival and accommodation in hotel “Jasmine” was held an organizational meeting.
The meeting discussed all topics and questions set for discussion at the official hearing, which will take place on August 7, at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia from 16:30.
The hall in which the meeting of the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee will be heldBefore the meeting representatives of the Liaison Committee will visit the National Festival of Bulgarian folklore in Koprivshtitsa, where they will enjoy a part of the rich authentic Bulgarian intangible cultural heritage.
During their visit of the Festival they will have a meeting with Ms. Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO.
