Blessed are the lands of Bulgaria and Georgia – two of the most ancient Christian countries with extremely rich and countless cultural heritage from prehistoric times to the present day. Their natural characteristics and the names of the geographical regions in which they are located are determined by the mountainous landscape – the Balkan and the Caucasus. The two countries are opposite to one another, on the eastern and western sides of the Black Sea, which is even more ancient and which the rivers rising from their mountains run into.
This project aims to protect and promote the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Georgia and Bulgaria. The selected geographical area is the Southern Black Sea coast, where the mountains Strandja and Lesser Caucasus kiss the sea.
