Mrs. Petya Zelenski, a permanent representative of Sozopol Foundation in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Mrs. Petya Zelenski – a permanent representative of Sozopol Foundation in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)For this international recognition of Sozopol Foundation contributed its extremely active work related to the 2003 Convention for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Foundation’s work has been recognized and dignified by UNESCO. Some of the activities implemented by ozopol Foundation present to all the rich intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Bulgaria.
“Nestinarstvo” ritual, an element of the representative list of intangible cultural heritage, demonstrated at the World Forum of International Non-Governmental Organizations in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), organized by Sozopol Foundation in 2014 .

Sozopol Foundation in partnership with Rings of Balkans Association, Republic of Serbia, successfully completed the implementation of the project: “The Kuker tradition in Bulgaria and Serbia – Cultural Tradition of Two Neighbouring Nations”. The project was funded under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Program for 2016-2017 and co-funded by Sozopol Foundation.
