Implementation period: 2007 ÷ 2008 years. Value of the implemented project activities – EUR 120 300,00. Funded under the Program “PHARE to the European Union, Cross-Border Cooperation Bulgaria – Turkey 2005″. The project created new and improved the existing facilities and infrastructure for green tourism on the territory of Tolstoytska Livada, Lesopark, Thracian meadow and Ayazmoto Park, located in the region of Yasna Polyana village, Primorsko Municipality, Bourgas District. An adjoining infrastructure has been built to provide access to the natural resources of all people involved, including those with disabilities. Through the implementation of the activities related to this purpose, new products were created for the development of “green” tourism and provided preconditions for the sustainable development of a diverse tourist product.
The project stimulates the development of the tourism industry. Capacities have been created for the local population to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to effectively preserve, use and promote the unique natural resources concentrated in the region.
The project created an eco-path, which is included in a common tourist route. The organization of such a route highlighted and promoted the natural sights in the cross-border region and contributed to the development of long-term cross-border cooperation in the field of tourism.
